I began sewing at a young age doing minor repairs on family clothing. My grandmother being raised from the “old school” assumed that I as well should learn the basics of sewing and repairing. So I did. I then discovered I had a talent for it, so I began making things. At first I just made the quilts and quillows for family and friends. Then I also began working on wall hangings as well. I then decided to take my things to Craft Shows and Flea Markets and share my talent with others who had none. When I make a quilt or quillow, each is made to my specs, because I am very particular about my workmanship. I stand behind my work and I enjoy what I am doing. When I need help my sister-in-law helps me, together we work as a team. I have been making quilts for 18 years and quillows for 12 years.

The quillows are very unique in their own way. When you are finished using them just fold them up and tuck into the attached pocket and it becomes a pillow. Very handy to take along camping, great for kids at sleep overs, the extra in the car or on those chilly nights an extra blanket. They will fit on top of twin size bed. So you not only have a blanket but a pillow as well. The blankets are made with all new materials and the batting used in between the fabric layers is non-allergetic. They are also machine wash and dry.
